Launceston Airport Shuttle Bus meets every arriving flight, an airport shuttle bus will be ready for your transfer when you land. Ensure you see the driver before collecting your luggage from the carousel to make the driver aware that you will be traveling.
Before you book
- Why can’t I pay in advance?

We do not accept online payment or payment in advance, due to changes in passenger circumstances and flight cancellations.
We find that ‘pay as you board the shuttle’ works best for our passengers and our admin team.
- Can I book my trip with the driver?

A text message or online booking is preferred for future bookings.
If you have arrived at the Launceston Airport and want to take the shuttle to the city, then absolutely ask the driver to book you on that shuttle bus, do this before collecting any checked baggage please to ensure you have a seat secured.

Please note that we do not accept online payment, pay the driver on the day of travel with cash or card.

Launceston Airport Shuttle Bus Services all Hotels/Motels, Backpackers within Launceston CBD, for an extra charge the driver can drop/pick you up from your private home or Air BnB.

Before you travel
- What are the operating hours?

Hours of operation from the city are 8AM to 10:30pm daily.
Our first city shuttle is 8AM from your requested location in Launceston
early morning pick ups are available for groups larger than 5 people.
Arriving at Launceston Airport? We meet every arriving flight, once landed please see the driver before collecting any checked luggage from the carousel.
Our vehicles are conveniently located outside the terminal exit doors to the left.
- How much baggage is included in my fare?

Baggage allowance per passenger:
1X 23kg suitcase / bag
&
1x 7kg suitcase / bag
Excess baggage charges: based upon discretion of the driver: additional $5.00 per extra bag on board.
We have a small, medium and large luggage trailer to suit additional baggage or sports equipment such as Bike Bags, Bike Box, Golf Clubs, Musical Instruments etc.
Please advise us in advance if you are travelling with oversized items.
- Where do I find the Shuttle Bus at the Launceston Airport?

All passengers arrive at the main terminal building, please see our friendly driver before collecting your checked baggage from the carousel. You will see two glass sliding doors to exit the building, and Launceston Airport Shuttle Buses will be parked to the left of the glass doors for your convenience. Our friendly drivers wear yellow hi-vis shirts / jackets.
- How much time should I allow to get to the airport?

Recommended Pick Up Time
We recommend you are at the airport 60 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.
Based on your pick up location this is generally no later than 1.5hours before departure flight.
- Do I need to tip the driver?

If you feel the driver has been friendly and courteous, then a tip would be appreciated.
- What happens if I cancel my holiday/flight?

If your holiday is cancelled please contact us on 0488200700 and we will cancel your transfer.
- What happens if my flight is delayed?
-
If your arriving flight into Launceston is delayed, there is no need to worry or contact us.
If you land between the hours of 7AM – 10PM a Launceston Airport Shuttle Bus will be available to pick you up.
Late Flights 10PM onward
Passenger booked on the last Shuttle service for the day that arrive on a delayed flight, will need to make alternative travel arrangements at their own expense. Launceston Airport Shuttle bus is not responsible for delayed flights and will contact you to advise if the shuttle is unable to wait for your delayed flight landing after 10PM.
